JAMESTOWN, New York - On Sunday, October 26, 2014, Team Shults Auto Group had over 100 supporters walking in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, raising over $1,500 for the fight against breast cancer. The walk was held at Jamestown Community College at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, with walkers from the Shults Auto Group dealership there in full force to "make strides for more birthdays" by raising awareness of the disease. This year's event raised $85,000 with over 900 participants.

"To have so many community members come out and show their support is amazing," said Tim Shults, president of Shults Auto Group. "We were proud to support the efforts of so many hard working individuals whose mission is to find a cure to beat cancer."

One out of every two women who is diagnosed with breast cancer in America today reaches out to the American Cancer Society. Currently, there are more than 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States, who are enjoying more birthdays thanks to the treatment that they have received.
